With 11 years of teaching over 4 classes per week and 25 years of practice, I’m here to support you and tailor the practice to your abilities. Additionally, my experience includes working with various movement modalities, massage therapies, and private clients with both medical and therapeutic needs, addressing mental and physical well-being.

Foundation Level 1 begins on 16/9, Covering basic yoga principles, Iyengar techniques, and beginner poses. Learn body alignment, prop usage, and the benefits of yoga
.
Level 2 is for those with a solid practice, focusing on advanced poses and techniques, following the 'Pune system' established by the Iyengar family in India. Each week features a different theme, such as standing poses, forward bends, backbends, restorative, or pranayama. Within these themes, I weave in various focuses, as Iyengar sequences are designed to create specific effects. The beauty of Iyengar is that we teach you to learn, rather than just to do. This is what makes the teaching so special—the bespoke attention and deep knowledge of how poses, actions, and sequences work together to transform your practice. 

Zoom classes offer a condensed version of Levels 1 and 2.

General level classes integrate elements from both levels but without the in-depth focus.

    Hello I'm Adrienne 

    I help individuals connect to their inner wisdom and fully return to their bodies through Iyengar yoga, mindfulness, meditation, pain management, and holistic body work and energetic therapies. With 11 years of Yoga teaching experience, including 4-6 classes per week and weekly private sessions, along with 25 years of dedicated practice in yoga, breath work, and mindfulness, I bring extensive, embodied knowledge to my work. My expertise covers various movement modalities, massage therapies, and addressing both medical and therapeutic needs. I’ve also taught yoga for the Iyengar Long Covid medical study in collaboration with St. John’s University. My teaching is characterised by kindness, intuition, and a deep understanding of the body, mind, art and science behind each modality.
