This popular workshop has consistently been a favorite with my students , and I am thrilled to revisit it this year, Often referred to as the ‘seat of the soul,’ the Psoas has a profound connection to our physical and emotional well-being. It serves as the primary responder to stress, potentially holding deep-seated past traumas and emotions that remain largely unconscious. When the Psoas functions optimally, it empowers us to feel emotionally resilient while maintaining a healthy spine and posture. However, prolonged sitting or chronic stress can compromise the Psoas, leading to significant back pain and discomfort. Join us for this enriching experience as we explore and nurture the intricate relationship between our physical and emotional selves. Everyone is invited, especially those in search of tension relief and emotional balance.

Hello I'm AdrienneI help individuals connect to their inner wisdom and fully return to their bodies through Iyengar yoga, mindfulness, meditation, pain management, and holistic body work and energetic therapies. With 11 years of Yoga teaching experience, including 4-6 classes per week and weekly private sessions, along with 25 years of dedicated practice in yoga, breath work, and mindfulness, I bring extensive, embodied knowledge to my work. My expertise covers various movement modalities, massage therapies, and addressing both medical and therapeutic needs. I’ve also taught yoga for the Iyengar Long Covid medical study in collaboration with St. John’s University.
