In these unusual times, we can find ourself off centre and very much in our heads and everything can feel overwhelming. Join me for an inspiring Iyengar practice where we will work on grounding our energy, calming the mind and balancing the nervous system, calm the mind and rejuvenate our creative energy. Using the yoga asana (postures) and pranayama (breath) to bring us back to our bodies and our deep inner connection. If you don't have props don't worry, we can use books, cushions, scarves, towels.. just have a few things around just in case. The zoom space will be open for 10 minutes prior and after the class so we'll have time to connect. For those of you who live near me please give me a call.. I have lots of yoga props you can borrow until we are back to normal. Currently I am running my classes through the yoga studios where I normally teach:

In light of fast-moving developments regarding social-distancing and self-isolation, I would like you to be aware that I am now offering the opportunity to enjoy private yoga using remote technology. I can teach you using Zoom, which is an excellent option if you are part of a group operating from different locations.
Now more than ever, it is important to continue yoga or start yoga, as it offers a refuge to cultivate the tools and resources to be in a relationship with all that arises. I understand that a remote lesson might not feel identical to a personal one, but you can be assured that you will get my personal attention. My small mind is nervous and could easily slip into fear.. but a time of change requires a leap of faith, an inner strength and an inner trust. I believe there is a gift in all of this, and more than ever the world needs the expansive and quietening qualities of Yoga.. it has so much to offer on so many levels and it comes into its own in times like these. Hello I'm AdrienneI help individuals connect to their inner wisdom and fully return to their bodies through Iyengar yoga, mindfulness, meditation, pain management, and holistic body work and energetic therapies. With 11 years of Yoga teaching experience, including 4-6 classes per week and weekly private sessions, along with 25 years of dedicated practice in yoga, breath work, and mindfulness, I bring extensive, embodied knowledge to my work. My expertise covers various movement modalities, massage therapies, and addressing both medical and therapeutic needs. I’ve also taught yoga for the Iyengar Long Covid medical study in collaboration with St. John’s University.
