They have a cleansing effect on the body, reduce common ailments and improve energy Connecting deep with the Muladhara (root chakra) region of the body, the grounding element, we practice poses that feel great on the tired muscles of the back, induce mobility in the spine, free up the breath and energetic blocks, and have a wringing effect on the inner organs…squeezing out stagnant blood and encouraging a fresh flow of blood to the area. Through the Muladhara connections and kriyas we explore how the standing poses give us access and understanding to inner Self, and to other groups of asana and pranayama. The effects of this work will leave you feeling extremely refreshed, invigorated and inspired. This workshop is part of Adrienne's “Monthly Iyengar Yoga ” series at the Secret Space.
